We will go to know B. Ed. Syllabus of MMHAPU Patna & Patliputra UniversityBachelor in Education (B. Ed.) is a teacher education program to prepare teachers for different stages of school education.
Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.) Aims to prepare teachers for upper primary or middle level (VI-VII), secondary, and senior secondary level education i.e. class IX-XII.
The purpose of Bachelor in Education (b. Ed.) Is to facilitate children's learning and development, for which the teacher can get a complete understanding of the child and its learning and development process and about the problems and rights of children.
Each child grows up in a particular socio-cultural context, which affects his or her acquisition of knowledge, skills, attitudes, etc.
This makes it imperative for the teacher to understand the social setup in which the child is placed and makes demands on the child as well as the teacher.
In addition to develop an understanding of the child's development in various contexts, the teacher is also expected to facilitate the students to acquire knowledge and skills in various curriculum areas.
For which it should have the ability to use appropriate teachings, which may be relevant and general teaching relevant or appropriate for different areas of the school curriculum.
For example, folk arts have been well established as a useful tool for ICT, arts and crafts, and community resources, and as educational tools for various areas of the school curriculum.
The program envisages the use of ICT as an educational tool for all areas of the school the curriculum at the primary level.
Apart from ICT, there is immense potential to be used as a medium for teaching various areas of the school curriculum such as fine arts, music, dance, theater and craft sciences, mathematics, social studies, environmental studies, etc.
The inclusion of arts and crafts in the curriculum will not only equip prospectively teachers to appreciate our rich cultural heritage in the field of art but also highlight their potential as educational tools for the education of various areas of the school curriculum.
Main Aim of B. Ed. Course
Promote values of peace, democratic way of life, equality, justice, freedom, secularism, and social reconstruction.
This can be achieved only when the teacher education course provides appropriate and important opportunities for student teachers:
Understand one's beliefs, feelings, and aspirations, to oneself and others; To develop self-analysis, self-evaluation, adaptability, flexibility, creativity, and capacity for innovation.
To develop professional skills in pedagogy, observation, documentation, analysis and interpretation, drama, craft, storytelling, and reflective inquiry.
Eligibility Criteria for B. Ed. Admission to MMHAP University:
(I) Candidates with at least 55% mark either Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Science / Social Science / Humanities, Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics.
(b) Reservation and relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / PHC and other categories will be as per Central Government / State Government rules, whichever is applicable.
